Carnival Magic enters into Cruise Ship contest game offering free cruise

Carnival Magic is Carnival Cruises' new ship, which is set to sail in 17 days.

To increase the awareness about cruise ships and cruise vacations in youth and children Carnival Magic attempts to reach out to this segment of the market by offering related contests.

Before its first cruise sail, Carnival has created a youth-oriented contest to raise more awareness and interest about the ship.

Here’s how anyone can participate.

* Build a model Carnival ship from things around the house... create a floating symbol of fun! (It doesn't have to float.)

* Take a digital picture of your creation. Show it off as best you can. Make us want to take a cruise with YOU!

* You can win some amazing prizes. Grand prize? A Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Magic.

* Others win too! For every entry and vote, $1 will be donated to help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® end childhood cancer.
