Mexico cruise ship loses power.

Carlos Salazar at the line's reservations office says the Ocean Star Pacific ran into problems early Saturday as it sailed from Huatulco to Acapulco, resorts on Mexico's southern Pacific coast.

Salazar says passengers are still on the ship, which was on its second cruise. He has no other details.

A company website says the ship has a capacity for 1,050 passengers.

The new line serves only Mexican ports and started operations earlier this month, according to the website.
