The Disney Wonder cruise ship stopped in San Francisco for the first time Friday, spending two nights in the city by the bay.

San Francisco hopes it might be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

The massive cruise ship will stop in San Francisco as it transitions from the warm waters of the Mexican Rivera to Alaska each summer cruising season.

San Francisco has made a point of attracting more cruise ships to the waterfront and has hoped the upcoming America's Cup race will entice cruise planners.
