To celebrate World Music Day 2013, MSC Cruises today launched official children’s entertainment song Doremi Dancewith an exclusive performance during a World Music Day children’s parade across the fleet.

Family values lie firmly at the heart of the MSC Cruises experience and this new song is just the latest addition to the MSC family product, which includes four different kids’ clubs, flexible dining, great entertainment for every age, and much more.

Additional family activities taking place to mark World Music Day include music sessions, arts and crafts sessions, music-themed games such as musical chairs, combined sports and musical games, and a Doremix Family Disco.

Dedicated to popular kids’ club mascot Doremi, Doremi Dance will now be the official opening theme tune to children’s activities across the fleet and the soundtrack to the MSC Cruises official kids' dance.

“Doremi Dance is an international pop song which reflects the diversity of the children who sail on the MSC Cruises fleet,” said MSC Cruises Youth Activities Coordinator Matteo Mancini.  “With lyrics in Italian, English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish, the song evokes MSC Cruises’ Mediterranean roots and our ability to make children from around the world feel at home and have fun.”

With lyrics by Angela Senatore and Antonella Boriani and music by Sandro Comini, Doremi Dance was recorded by Italian’s children choir, Piccolo Coro Mariele Ventre Dell’Antoniano Di Bologna, directed by Sabrina Simoni.
