New cruise ship booking like a Disney Dream

Thinking about booking vacation on Disney's much publicized new cruise ship, the Disney Dream? Good luck. Disney executives say the line's first new vessel in more than a decade is pretty much sold out through the fall.

We can try and get you a stateroom between now and end of the fiscal year but chances are slim. We may have some speculative group bookings we can slid you into if you’re interested.

CEO Bob Iger has nothing but praise for Disney's cruise division when talking with analysts. They noted the Disney Cruise Line's three ships are over 95% booked for the current quarter, which includes the months of April, May and June, and 86% booked for the next quarter, which encompasses the months of July, August and September.

And Believe it or not, they’re almost 60% booked for (the first quarter of 2012), which is pretty interesting, given the fact that the new ship has 4,000 guests on it.
