The blog, found at http://inspiredtocruise.com, illustrates some of the myriad reasons people take cruise vacations.
Each week during 2012 the blog explores the celebrations, accomplishments, milestones and other inspired reasons to cruise, each told by a different passenger. This diverse group of contributors -- from long-time cruisers to those who set sail for the first time -- will share a total of 52 stories.
The latest reasons to cruise are:

Story #24: To Relax -- Nancy Cruse of Hannibal, Missouri, shares how the loss of her father and a painful shoulder injury led to a unique prescription from her doctor: go someplace to relax. A Caribbean cruise fit the bill and allowed her to sleep peacefully for the first time in months.
Story #23: To Thank My Family -- Amy Wilson of Frederick, Maryland shares how her husband wanted to thank his wife and daughters for all the sacrifices they made while he was serving in the U.S. Navy. So, instead of throwing a traditional retirement bash, the family took off on a Caribbean cruise.

But she found that she was able to conquer all during her 50th birthday cruise and even fulfilled her wish to experience the heights of the state's famous White Pass Railroad.
Story #21: To Honor A Family Member -- Carol Fiol of Lake Worth, Florida, tells how over the years her family kept talking about taking a cruise together, but never made the plans until her father became ill.
