The Italian Sommelier Association is an organization that has been helping define the role of the sommelier since 1965 and its 'Approach to Wine' course comprises five lessons featuring both theory and practical wine tasting sessions. Topics covered will include the basics of wine growing, the wines of Italy and the world, and techniques for pairing food and wine. The courses will be complemented by an additional wine and delicacy pairing session, and guests taking part in these courses will of course be offered a certificate of attendance.
