When Bad Things Happen To A Good Cruise Line

Azamara Club Cruises® is known for the awards and accolades it receives. They were selected number one for best overall experience in the small ships category by Cruise Critic in 2012. As well as best in service, best in value, best in fitness, and best for Mediterranean.
But sometimes when bad things happen, as it did 2 weeks ago when a fire broke out in the engine room of the Azamara Quest®, they truly did get the chance to show what they are made of.
- "People didn't complain. The captain was phenomenal," said Dorothy Irvine, a former school principal from Toronto.
- Margaret Whawell, of Melbourne, Australia said there had been "no panic, no chaos, everything was under control."
- "It was unfortunate, but the crew was totally, utterly amazing, taking care of us, making sure we were safe, pulling double duty," Diane Becker Krasnick of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, told the AP. "I would still highly recommend Azamara."
Its one thing to be praised when times are good, but praise after a calamity, well, that speaks volumes.
